Acudent Dents new location!
We moved into our new home in the middletown Trade Center off of English Station road!
We moved locations!
From the time in 2004 that Acudent opened its doors we have strived to provide our customers the highest quality paintless dent repair. With that being said we relocated to better serve our customers. Acudent started in what we would call a humble beginning. The first retail shop in Douglas Loop was nothing more than a big two and a half car garage. Our first shop made us hone our customer service experience because of its lack of amenities such as heat and central air conditioning. We were a small company with big dreams, but we knew we needed a bigger a better retail location.
In 2015
Acudent was given a great opportunity with turning an old ice cream shop/ gas station into the premiere paintless dent repair shop in town. The shop which was close to Bellarmine off of Norris Pl. And Speed Ave.had no expense spared to ensure that our company had the nicest facility in Louisville. Our customers loved the new facility but we quickly found things that hindered our repairs. The old gas station was not big enough for some of today’s trucks which made keeping the doors shut for the heat and A/C somedays next to impossible.
In 2017
A location became available on the corner of Newburg Road and Bishops Ln. The shop was a fixer upper with great potential. The goal in mind was to make it one that insurance companies would want to use our location as a drive through estimating center in case of a major hail storm. A year later that dream came true when parts of the metro area got hit with hail and Progressive decided to use as that claims drive.
Fast forward to 2020
A whole new set of challenges arise for Acudent and everyone involved with the company. First off covid happened and changed the dynamic of our relationships with our bodyshop customers as well as our retail side dwindled due to everyone staying in for fear of getting ill. None of us were expecting the loss that would happen in October when we lost our fearless leader. Without Gavin none of us would have learned the trade that we all love so much and for that we are truly thankful. Fortunately, his wife Lauren, decided to keep the doors open for us so we could continue to keep his dream going until the fate of the company could be finalized. Thank you Lauren for everything you have done for us.
Now on to 2022
As the new owner and employee for over 17 years, we plan to follow the same recipe of high-quality paintless dent repair at a competitive price. The shop on Newburg has been great but we feel it is time for a new location that we can incorporate all that we have learned from the previous shops and implement changes to ensure the best repairs possible. We moved into our new home in the Middletown Trade Center off of English Station Road. We look forward to continuing our drive to be the best in town and this shop will only help us achieve that. Watch for our upcoming posts on social media and our website for updates as things progress in our new home.
And I can’t finish without giving thanks to Amanda Helfrich @ Homepage Realty this move would not
have been possible without your help. She has gone above and beyond to find us an awesome spot and
help us secure a great lease.
